Weird header I know. You’ll see why.

1st Part

Today I met Ju and Nani for the photo shoot out at Esplanade. We wanted to get Mcdonalds breakfast but we went in a bit late so they didn’t have much left, and we ate lunch straight instead. We tried to ask Jieren to join us but he, being the responsible guy and all, switch off his phone after promising us he’ll meet us at 4pm. Responsible.

We headed to the Esplanade area to take some photos and of the Merlion too. Then it was decided that we should rest after some photos and decision making time.

We decided to go to the Hort Park. It was my first time there and I heard that they have the Tree Top Trail whereby there is a trail leading into the tree congested areas / forest and the bridge is leading uphill.

We stayed quite a long time in the Hort Park taking photos with different lens and cameras. I prefer the Hort Park over the Botanic gardens. Being to Botanic Garden for numeral times was one of the reasons I preferred the first visited Hort Park.

We saw a series of interesting stuff. Like a real photo shoot going on, and the lady was donning this black gown in the scorching heat. We had also saw some interesting stuff from the outside into the restaurant. The area was new and interesting seriously.

We headed over to the TreeTop Trail and started the trek through the trail. Everyone walked so fast at first and I was wondering why. Soon, we slowed down and started to take in the view and looked around. By the time we reached the top, we were breathless.

After some map checking and direction pointing, we managed to find our way down and out to the main roads. Nani took the bus to meet her sis while Ju and I took 198 home. Here is where I start the 2nd part of the entry.

 

2nd Part

I alighted at the stop of my ex secondary school to wait for a bus transfer back home. It was already quite late and I was hoping to get home as soon as possible because my dinner was already at home waiting. I could have expected that nonsense stuff like that would happen but I didn’t. The bus took its own bloody time to arrive, with all the other services zooming past me like a F1 race going on.

It is so freaking late and the bus can still be late? Service delays?

Finally after some knuckles cracking, the bus decided to arrive in slowly. I took a sit and after a few stops, I stood up to let a mum sit beside her child, and obviously she didn’t take to it. Fine, let others sit, anyway I’ll be reaching in probably 6 or 7 stops.

I regretted. The crowd came up on the next MRT bus stop and flooded the bus. Here was what got me pissed. I don’t know why always for some reason, some aunty who thinks that she is a high class Tai Tai just by wearing a little formal to supermarkets likes to start asking people to move in, and squeezing in all the way.

Someone should bring down the Capacity board and stuff it into her face. There is something called and spelt the “L.I.M.I.T” or “C.A.P.A.C.I.T.Y”. When a bus is full, it is full. Even when she starts saying Excuse me, Excuse you, Excuse him, Excuse her, the bus is still full. Accept the fact, Hags.

I alighted at the nearest stop I could and walked the rest of the trip home. I just couldn’t stand the condition of the trip. I couldn’t move in, because of my height and the height of the bus top, and I couldn’t move out because of the pushing crowd. I was stuck. Might as well get down and walk. It felt way nicer.

So this is what they ask us to support?

Support Public Transport?

Bus is better?

My ass?

Bus are crowded, not that cheap, just less expensive, random and frequent waiting times, not to mention the Uniquely Squeeza-Pore Experience.

Come SBS Transit. why not change your posters to these, it’ll sound more like home.

“Choose Public Transport, You have no choice”

“Public Transport is better, or rather, nothing else is avaliable”

“Public Transport, expensive, but not that expensive”

“Take the public transport for a uniquely squeeza-pore experience.”

and lastly,

“Public Transport, take or walk”

Good right. Yes I know. They should hire me for the next poster designer for SBS Transit. Really they should.

 

 

 

This is probably the end of the updates. You might be asking, “Where are the photos from the photo shoot?”. Sadly they are not with me yet and are still on Nani’s Memory Card. I’ll have to get it from her tomorrow and I’ll update this with pictures if I managed to not get lazy.
