I am so pissed now that you probably can see smoke coming out from my gritted teeth. Why?! Why you ask me?! Let me tell you this wonderful and angelic story of mine.

I borrowed Nani’s thumbdrive so I can get the pictures I took that day, and I held on to it since.

Yesterday I saw her, I wanted to pass to her, but I told her later because I haven’t clear the stuff inside, and since I used the thumbdrive, I got the responsibility to return it to her clean.

Due to the fact that there was some stuff going on yesterday, from editing to printing to spraying location and problems, I had forgotten about it. That is my fault, because I forgot about it. I could argue and say I could be reminded but not going to do so.

Yesterday night, I did my report till late 2.30am. I didn’t manage to finish it because I guess I can finish up in school. I woke up at 7. 4 1/2 hours of sleep. I got to school. For the whole day, it was just GDF and typing report. Seriously tired. Even strong belinda also had a headache, first time see.

So you can roughly see how exhausting the day was. I had to get my own dinner because parents were not at home. I carried the camera from school to Jurong Point, got my food, drink, and everything else with my camera home using 1 hand.

I reached home, finished my dinner, and started to try out different editing methods for the Flash game photos.

Then a sms came in. Nani told me she urgently needed the thumbdrive and asked whether I could pass it to her tonight. I said okay of course. I asked for the meeting place, and she said Boon Lay after her work. I asked whether we could change to lakeside.

NOTE: I did not mentioned to her that I was very very tired. I didn’t even get a chance to bath yet ok.

I suggested that since she was taking MRT back to Boon Lay, she could come down the train at Lakeside, and I would pass the thumbdrive over the gate to her, and she could continue the train back to Boon Lay. All in a matter of minutes.

Nope. She told me she is tired. For that, I might need to go all the way to Boon Lay Interchange instead of Lakeside. Let me tell you why I think it wasn’t a good idea.

1) Boon Lay interchange is way further then Lakeside.

2) I have 4 buses to Lakeside MRT, I have 2 to Boonlay.

3) Vice Versa when I go back, I have 4 home from lakeside, 2 from boonlay.

4) It would take her less then 1 minute to come down from the platform to take and go back up, while it took me 20 - 25 minutes more (the bus at Jurong Point came on time) in total time wasted to go to Boon Lay instead of Lakeside.

 

 

 

5) I not tired?

 

She said “Is that really hard for you?”. Once she said that, what could I say? After all I did hold on to her thumbdrive. Since she used that phrase, I got no choice but to go right?

I went down, one of the 2 available buses to BoonLay just ran away. I am left with 1. I had to go down 10 minutes earlier also because Boon Lay was further away. That 10 minutes was not added onto the time wasted on top.

I fumed all the way to Jurong Point and waited there. I am clever, go all the way to Jurong Point, waste so much time. She came and saw me, and commented that I look very tired.

So people can see that I am exhausted like crap?

Thats good.

I just waved bye and left without even saying anything.

I’m not trying to be “Guai Lan” or “Xia Lan”, but it is just that I’m afraid that I’ll say nonsensical stuff if I open my gritted teeth.

Seriously this incident has made me very speechless. I don’t mind going far far to meet anyone to pass / return stuff. That is if you are unwell, unable to meet me closer for some reason, I will understand of course. I don’t mind even going to your house and pass it to you if you’re really sick or unable to leave house.

But, tired? How tired can a person be that you can’t stop 1 stop earlier and go down to get a item, before going up and take 1 more stop before reaching the destination?

Or rather, how tired can a person be to ask a friend to go all the way and spent 20+ minutes more just because you don’t wish to spend that 1 – 2 minute?

Or really rather, how tired until you can be more tired then me?

The point here being. Yes she needs to rush home, I need to rush home too also. I am not as free as I seem, sadly. But I am not asking her to come out of the gates. I asked her merely to get it over the gate. I swear it won’t take more then 2minutes. How late can that get? So if 2 minutes is long, my 25 minutes not time?

 

 

Last but not least, just when I was taking the lift up to my block, I saw people inside the lift. I asked whether they are going up, since they were standing inside opening up the door still. Those 2 fucking spawn woman, looked at me like their male spawn counterparts always does, and closed the door in my face without saying anything.

What the hell?

 

 

 

I am glad that no one I knew was around me during this time. Seeing me shaking with incomprehensible anger and disappointment was not exactly the nicest rainbow in the world.
