okay, so i have my ePSXe working with CrossOver Games. I can play games that only require a .bin file.

However, when the games have a .bin and .cue i do all the stuff with Toast Titanium and eventually mount it.

Due to CrossOver being like its own computer, ePSXe cant get to my disc drive or mounted discs. Any idea how i can get it to access these, or another way to do it?

thanks.

Hi everyone,

I'm running an Intel Mac and I can't seem to get epsxe.exe to open. I've tried versions 1.7, 1.6, and 1.52. I've downloaded the Zlib1.dll and put it in the epsxe folder as well. Every time I try to open it, nothing happens. I've also tried opening the menu in CrossOver Games to File - Open, which hasn't worked either. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for your help!

Hey everyone, I found that when I would try to right-click on epsxe.exe in the Applications folder and do "Open With Crossover Games", it never ran. But, if in the Crossover Games menu I did File - Open then selected epsxe.exe through there, it ran perfectly fine.

Hope this helps anyone.

I've tried Crossover for Mac with "USB Overdrive" instead of Gamepad Companion, and it works very nicely, and never have to pay for it.

Crossover has no native support for gamepads.

I use Gamepad Companion to map my controller keys to the keyboard keys that are assigned in epsxe.

Hay I have ePSXe running threw crossover games, and I have istalled Pete's plugins, for openGL and sound, the ePSXe starts up no prob but I don't have the ROM to run, I'm trying to get FF7 but i do not have the discs anymore, I've downloaded the game from loads of different sources and most of the time they are in the .RAR format, no prob I ''archive" it threw "newztoolz" and the I get an .IMG for it, then from the info I picked up, I figure now I have to mount it with disk utility, but I try to open the disk image and DU stops and gives me "could not attach file (not recognized), PLEASE ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APRECIATED, been trying to get this too work all damn weekend

And also could anyone tell me a good way to get ISO's that do run on ePSXe on mac

sorry if that sounds too complicated, I don't really know a way do describe it any simpler, any help would be great, thnx

Thanks a ton. Mine keeps freezing up for over 10 minutes when I try to run the ISO which leads me to think the ISO is bad. I will just make a new ISO.

It really depends on what you mean by long there. Usually mine takes around 10+ seconds. If it hangs you might want to recheck your config / re do your iso like what you're doing now.

Hope it helps.
