October 13! School reopens for the first day.

Its thursday today, and 4 days since school started.

Monday, we had VID for a while, and it is a web design module. Not web programming, web design. This module is taught by Eric and so I expects him to have some rather high standards in this module.

A while later, we proceeded to the LT26 for some prize giving ceremony and some school start briefing. I got lucky, got myself an award.

We had GAD (Game Design), which we did not design games using computer but playing board games and designing board games in the future to come. It was fun, we had to switch games halfway but still ended up with a storytelling game. We had quite a laugh at the end.

Tuesday was IS day. I don’t like IS. First was CATS which was ok I guess. Had a memorable start in class. Next was SnW. I picked badminton which was ok with me, I wanted archery / fencing but they didn’t offer that this sem, oh well.

Wednesday is a short day, with only 4 hours in school. It was the APT, Animation Principle Techniques if I am not wrong. It teaches us the different ways to do animation. 2d, Pixelation and stuff. At first it was interesting but maybe because the aircon room was cold and it was the art studio that it started feeling a bit sleepy, also due to it was a morning class.

We had to do flip book animation and some of the work were so cute haha. I sort of did mine but it was kind of short so I am trying to add on more. Maybe due to the fact that my animation was sort of detailed. =/.

Thursday is today, which we had 8 hours lessons, 4 4 each. 2 lessons in total. First was PSP. Problem solving kind of module. It was totally like PDA, flash programming. The indian teacher review the past PDA stuff with us to refresh our memories. At first it was really weird but after a few examples, everything sort of came back and I managed to finish the work beforehand by some time.

Next up was SSS. Storytelling and Storyboarding module. Anita and Christina were each taking a week in seeing us, Christina was first though. We had to watch some cartoons and animations, and then answer some basic questions. The fun part was when everyone had to go up front and tell the class a story. I, of course, talked about my Poly Admission as the memorable thing in my life. Old story, and Jonathan flew out of his chair when he heard what I Was going to say. The class laughed hearing me repeat the story again.

This is the first week only and that’s why its so slack. Soon we’ll be busy like whoever knows what, but believe me, when I say busy, it will be to the state where by you will see 3/4 of the class online on weekdays at 3 – 4am. I’ve seen it happen so many times, this semester is no exception.

I’m tired. Not just by school hours.
